On the Stage

In the depths of her heart, fear resides,

The darkness engulfs, where shadows collide.

Afraid of the unknown, she trembles inside,

As the dimmest of lights, still cause her to hide.

The brightness that blinds, one shade too bright,

It pierces her soul, fills her with fright.

She shies away from the crowd’s loud cheer,

On the grand stage of pride, she drowns in fear.

A thousand eyes upon her, but her voice is lost,

Silenced by anxiety, a heavy cost.

Yet, she portrays strength, appears so strong,

But deep down, she, too, finds words all gone.

And as you sought to understand her strife,

You discovered your own loss in this life.

Both wandering souls, struggling to be heard, In a world where silence can speak louder than words.

Who Says Words Could Not Hurt You.

Stronger than ever!
Dodging words you say could not hurt you.
strangers said them, so you let it slide
for the stranger as no place at your side, but
Then comes someone you look up to for ages
with just one wrong word and your brick wall
That once stood tall, crumbled, dispersing smoke
Awaiting rain to fall.
High Expectations, a risky one,
So can only, hope for the best in everyone.
The truth will always reveal itself
That people are just People,
Got your back or not they are just who they are.

Tears you are like raindrops

Tears you are like raindrops

You’re like raindrops

You form dark clouds around my heart

A strike of lightning straight to my heart

Leaving only dust to blow away in the wind

I can feel only empty space within

Tears you are like raindrops

Flooding this world with tense emotions

You can only wish for these days to past

To bring sunshine back to your heart

So brave you stood there trying to hold it in

But memories comes flashing in

The ones that use to make you laugh

The ones that tear your whole world apart

Fighting desperately to pull yourself together

But how can you in this horrible weather.

Break of dawn where you are now

To start the day anew

So that your sunshine

Can dry these tears away.
